Under the scheme ‘My summer, my region’, instigated by the Île-de-France region and with the support of the Drac Île-de-France – Ministère de la Culture as part of a ‘cultural summer’, the mobile exhibition Flash Collection continues to tour throughout the summer of 2020.
Flash Collection offers a fun way of discovering the contemporary collection.
Flash Collection trunks and backpacks contain a selection of small format works of art and enable contemporary art to be encountered more directly by demystifying its presentation and reinventing a new way to access art that is more immediate, approachable and significant.
During the summer of 2020, Flash Collection facilitators are continuing the work carried out during the school year in secondary schools in Ile-de-France as well as offering opportunities to meet in conservatories, activity centres, museums and theatres in the Paris region and outside apartment buildings for residents.
Flash Collection introduces cultural proposals to various areas in metropolitan Paris for the benefit of all audiences, particularly the most geographically and socially remote, essentially the core of its mission to reach out.
