The Flash Collection project
In September 2016, frac île-de-france launched an original project designed for high schools in the Paris region, based on a traveling module created by artist Olivier Vadrot, containing a selection of small-format works.
The Flash Collection travelling exhibition is a fun way for high-school students to discover contemporary art. The Flash Collection trunks and backpacks contain a selection of small-format works, enabling a more direct encounter with contemporary art by desacralizing its mode of presentation and reinventing a new, more immediate, open and sensitive way of accessing works.
With this project, the frac is investing in the different spaces of the Paris region in order to reach out to all audiences, especially those who are geographically and socially farthest from cultural offerings, which is at the heart of its dissemination mission.
