A publication issued for the exhibition Round and Round and Round (Part 2), frac île-de-france, le château / Parc Culturel de Rentilly – Michel Chartier (September 17 – December 4, 2011)
Round and Round and Round (Part 2) is part of the series of exhibitions that the frac île-de-france implemented at the Domaine de Rentilly where the purpose was to make a selection of works from the collection, in a playful way, exclusive of any classical theme, by defining beforehand a partly arbitrary rule that must be closely followed.
Therefore, taking inspiration from the chorus of a song by the Rolling Stones (Miss Amanda Jones), the exhibition (17 September- 4 December 2011) assembled a substantial set of works from the collection that explicitly integrated the fundamental shape, as such, of the ring and the circle.
