A publication portraying a set of measures to raise awareness about contemporary art joining artists and young audiences together around ‘The Invitation to Travel’, initiated by l’antenne, frac île-de-france (2011 – 201)
This publication documents a set of measures to raise awareness of contemporary art joining artists and young audiences. Between 2011 and 2013, l’antenne culturelle, the public services department of frac île-de-france, developed a cultural programme around ‘The Invitation to Travel’, with proposals for individual audiences and partnerships within schools and universities. Within this framework, ten artists were invited to meet pupils, children, adolescents, young people, etc. and to devise experimental workshops for them, as they see fit, these projects shed light from an unprecedented angle on their approaches.
