Monographic book of Keren Cytter’s exhibition Four Seasons : Nightmare, at frac île-de-france / le plateau (December 9, 2009 – February 14, 2010)
This publication centres around two films from the frac île-de-france collection called Four Seasons and Nightmare. Reiterating the principle of the ‘Bibliothèque des classiques du cinéma’ book collection published in the 1970s by Balland, the two films are presented in their entirety– image captures of different shots following the narrative and dialogues in French and in English. Four Seasons and Nightmare both tell stories about couples and the head-to-tail layout of the book known as ‘tête-bêche’ works like a mirror. Each part comprises a biography of the actors and musicians associated with the films, as well as a biography, filmography and press review of the artist.
