Catalogue of the exhibition Invisible Labyrinth at Théâtre national de Chaillot, Paris (17 March – 11 April 2009)
In spring 2010 frac île-de-france published a catalogue dedicated to the exhibition re-enacting the Invisible Labyrinth by Jeppe Hein at the Théâtre de Chaillot in March 2009. In conjunction, a selection of works from the collection chosen by the artist was presented in the space of the large foyer, within this apparatus that was initially presented in 2005 at the Centre Pompidou. While in the Musée national d’Art Moderne the work of art proposed an empty space into which the visitors were invited to move, guided by headsets helping them to perceive the sides of the said labyrinth, virtual partitions were used this time to demarcate different exhibition spaces for this set of sculptures chosen by the artist from the collection.
