The artist Johanna Fournier has been selected to create a sculpture for the forecourt of the recently built Pôle Civique in Fosses as part of the 1 per cent-for-art programme. In order to encourage the relationship between the residents of Fosses and contemporary art, she chose to organise an exhibition of works chosen in close cooperation with them. The frac île-de-france was asked to provide pieces from its Collection, and five works were chosen to resonate with Johanna Fournier’s sculpture and the theme of the relation between Art and Design. In addition, a visit of the exhibition Un été dans la Sierra (My first Summer in the Sierra) at le château (Rentilly) was organised for the residents.
